Nottingham Chamber Music Festival

 

Get ready for July! The Nottingham Chamber Music Festival (NCMF) arrives in the city centre from July 11th – 14th, gathering some of Nottingham’s top local and international musicians to perform in venues across the city centre.

Both free and ticketed concerts are available for NCMF 2024. Concerts include a Music & Wine tasting concert featuring the Villiers Quartet at Delilah Fine Foods; a twilight exploration of Franz Schubert’s string quartet “Death and the Maiden” at St Mary’s in the Lace Market; the Nottingham premiere of British composer Ailsa Dixon’s “The Spirit of Love” with soprano Emma Walshe; Family Concerts with the MishMash Ensemble at the Squire Performing Arts Centre; Concerts featuring finalists from the Nottingham Young Musician of the Year in the Nottingham Contemporary galleries; and a coffee concert with Irish-American pianist Deirdre Brenner and Spanish soprano Elena Copons at St Peter’s Church.

A free Festival pre-launch event, “Busk n’ Brew” takes place on Sunday, 30th June from 12pm – 2pm, and features local musicians at Blend Café in Nottingham Contemporary, for fun afternoon of music alongside the brew of your choice at Blend.
